Just back from the show at Feria de la Belle Epoque. we had a good weekend! Royal T finished show Champion in Level 3 with scores to 68%! He was a good boy as usual, and gave it his all. Judges comments: Great, talented supple horse! Lovely forward horse, with great movement! Amazing potential, his elastcity and energy are to die for! Wow!

Congrats to Annie Deranleau and Maguin, on her 66% in her Inter 1, I knew you could do it!

It is Royal T's birthday this week!! the 17th he will be 6!

Next show Fantasia, I have Kim and Wodana, Annie and Maguin, and me and Artie going, come say Hi!

Hi Everyone!

I know, I know it has been a while

So..The boys had quite a fight..They were out in their paddocks, and Royal T rolled, got up in Royal Senna's paddock....not a good thing 2 stallions together...needless to say I ended up putting stiches in Royal Senna's neck and his chest! He is the nicest stallion, he never even moved and i had no atravet and nothing to freeze him.

Because of the fight the boys were off for a month and started back the day before going to Blainville..

Senna tore a ligament in his first class 1/2 way thru and finished his class anyway, but couldn't show the rest of the competition, and is off from showing for at least 3 months..disapointing but it will heal and he will be as good as new.

Royal T won the FEI 6 year old final with over 73%. He is quite the stallion with all judges saying he has superbe gates and very good lateral work and superbe changes.

Royal Toscan did quite well in his division and gave me some good tests, with a 64% and a 66%, a couple of 2nds and 3rds, not bad for a...

So many things going on!!

I will be showing in blainville hopefully, the stallions had an accident but have been off since Ottawa and are recuperating well, the first time back on them will be the day before we leave for Blainville, so it will be interesting

Back from Ottawa Spring Classic, Senna had a bit of a tough time, as he is quite tired from breeding season, but still got a 61% in his Inter 1 freestyle with 7`s for his flying changes, and a 3rd place. Artie got a 70% in his young horse test  and a 2nd place then a 69% in the second one..where he decided to act like a young horse:) and a third place. On the sunday i showed im level 3, he came 3rd with a 65%!  Big Congrats  to Jeannine, one of my students who came with me, it was her 1st big sow and she did quite well, with 62% and a 3rd and 2X4th place.

Thanks a bunch to Julie and Marc for all their support and help at the show, and to Sylvie, Clode, Kim and Annie for holding down the fort at ome:)

Keira has finished her training session with me and will be going home on Friday

Guizmo will be arriving for training on Thursday

Sennatra will be arriving July 1st...

Had great clinic this winter, and we have the dates for next winter with John, who i will see this weekend, at a CCI*** in Toronto where we were both hired to judge..I'm sure we will find lots to talk about!!

LaSenza's embryo transfer went off with out a hitch, she even gave me 2 embryos, so we froze one for a later time and the other we transfered into BiBi. We also collected an embryo from Wanda, but froze it as Daisy wasn't quite ready to receive it, so we will transfer it in 2 weeks!

The horses are all going well and everyones training is on track, Jeannine and I are off to Ottawa in 2 weeks, that will be a blast! For Blainville we have rented a chalet, so we will be partying for 2 weeks!:)

Breeding season is in full swing and i'm busy as ever with lots of breeding to do.

So, my last embryo transfer didn't stick, but i'll be going back next week, this time Wanda has 2 embryos, and both have ovulated so we will try to implant them in both mares..i'll keep you posted on how it goes.

Was in Trois-Rivieres on Sunday saw some good horses and some good riders

The move to the new barn has worked out well, all horses are happy, being turned out daily, and all are nice and quiet..

I'm holding a clinic with John on the 26-27 of April, you are all welcome to come and audit just let me know if you are comming.

I'll  let you know how the clinic and breeding project are going and will hopefully have some new pics, by the end of the month.

Lots of new stuff!  I have rented a section in a wonderful barn with a huge arena and relaxing enviroment, it is going to be lots of fun!  I will know today, if my embryo has stuck to the mares uterus, and if we are starting the second transfer. We had a great clinic with Joth MacPherson this weekend, The boys went well, LaSenza was Super, and the surprise of Saturday was Claudelle Perraults horse Grand Grand who is a 3 year old, and was fantastic! We all got together at my place on saturday for Annie's birthday and had a blast!

We are having another clinic with John, the 26-27 of April. And i have booked him from October to April 2009!!

Well my embryo transfer project is comming along, thanks very much to Dr.Poitras and to Dr.Valliancourt for all of their help! The foal will be due Febuary 17.2009, we just can't wait!

I'm having another clinic with John next week, so hopefully i'll have some good pictures from that to post, i'm riding 4 of the 8 horses!

The 'boys' are doing well, can't wait till all this white cold stuff meltsso they can go out and spend the day in their paddocks..

Along with showing my 'boys' i'll also be showing Wanda a lovely mare,and the doner mare to my embryo transfer project, owned by Jeannine and Marc,  and LaSenza a super upper level prospect owned by Kim Roy. You will be able to see them in Blainville..

Jeannine and Marc have aquired ROYAL TOSCAN a Royal Senna 3 year old, he is also a super upper level prospect, I may take him out at the end of the summer, we will see, i still need to break him

So there is lots of news...some new baby pictures, as well as some pictures from my clinics this winter, which have been a blast, I have such a great gang at the barn, it's surprising we get any riding in as we spend out time laughing

My baby project is comming along, i shouls be doing the transfers in the middle of march, it got pushed back a bit, as i'm soaking up the rays here in cuba for a week

We are having a show meeting on the 9th when i get back, and will hold a schooling show for my students in may, however everyone is invited.

I also have another possible horse project taiking form, so i'll let you in on it soon:)!
