Royal T, 17'1, bay, Oldenburg Stallion

Most FEI judges agree..Great things will come of this stallion.

Outstanding Heritage

Royal T comes from exceptional heritage both from his sire Royal Senna (Rubinstein I/Argentan) and his dam Magic Melodie (Figaro / Westminster).

Figaro is the dam sire of countless horses including Isabelle Werth's up and coming dressage horse Aleppo and Robert Dover's young Grand Prix star Ranier. Figaro was a lifetime legend in the Oldenburg breed. The last "purebred" Oldenburg was sired by the Anglo-Norman Futuro (by Furioso xx). Figaro's dam Veilchenate by Goerz was one of the last mares of the old coach horse type to be used for breeding in the early 1970s. The chestnut, born in 1972, was awarded with the "Oldenburg champion stallion" title in 1976. He sired Grand Prix competition horses for both show jumping (Figaro's Boy/Ludger Beerbaum) and Flower/John Whitaker) and dressage (Aleppo (Argentinus x Figaro) and Rainier (Ronaldo x Figaro). Figaro sired multiple Bundeschampionate winners like Figaro's Lady (later sold at the Vechta auction for DM 100.000 - which was a spectacular price in the early 80s) or Frauenfreund - a promising Grand Prix mount that accidentally died. His son Formidable (Figaro x Inschallah) ridden by Markus Gribbe of Wasserburg/Inn was the only horse to beat Anthony FRH as a 5-year-old at the Bundeschampionate in Munich in the first qualification.

Inspections

During Royal T's inspection process, he scored highly with the Oldenburg of North America, the CSHA and received one of the highest scores ever given from the CWHBA.

Offspring

His first crop of foals and fillies are out , they are very consistant. They exhibit his beautiful conformation, his expressive gates and flamboyant personality. They have already shown on line and done very well, Most notably Royal Star, owned by Ecurie aux Quatre Vents who received Premium status.

Looks to die for and mouvement riders pray for

He inherited the kind temperament and athletic abilities of his sire, not to mention his expressive lofty trot and exceptionally balanced canter. His positive attitude to work and his extravagant movement make him an absolute joy to ride. Being a bay with white face and 4 white socks makes him quite a looker as well.

Future Star!

Judges agree, Royal T is the stallion of the future, with a big career ahead of him. As a 4 year old, and his first year showing he received scores between 70 and 83% winning the year end Championship and getting a Dressage Canada Bronze Medal, in 2007 as a 5 year old he showed in the FEI 5 year old division scoring up to 79%,and getting his Dressage Canada Silver Medal. In 2008 he showed in the FEI 6 year olds and won the prestigious Blainville International with scores in the 70%'s, he finished the season Champion FEI 6 year old, and Champion Level 3, Champion Level 3 freestyle, and is once again a Dressage Canada Silver Medalist. You can see him in 2009 in the FEI PSG and Inter 1.
